I guess I need clarity

When everyone is talking about large babies, what do you consider big and how big was your baby?
(Please no bashing anyone)

  • I'd say 7-9 is average, 10 and over I'd consider big.

  • Mine was 8lbs 10 oz... he was too big to come out, I needed a c-section so to me that is big

  • im not sure what you would call big but mine were 7lb 11 0z and 8lbz 7 oz and i thought the 2nd one was huge and shes still huge

  • my largest was 7lb 3oz, while he was my biggest, I did not consider him a large baby. IMO large is like 8 lbs or more.

  • MY 1st was 8lbs 1 oz, 2nd 7lbs 11 oz and my 3rd 9lbs 9.3 oz! all vaginal births I am also 5' 11" but my last one well, tff!

  • Mine were 6lbs 5ozs and 8lbs 3ozs and she wasnt really big she was only able to fit in premie clothes. so i guess i would think big is around 9lbs or more.

  • size is just perspective I guess. :) My son was 8, 3 and he fit in preemie clothes for about a month too. :)

  • Wow.. i think those are good sized babies....
    I was 9 lbs 10 oz & my SO was over 10 lbs.
    Our mothers both had us naturally with no drugs.

  • My son was 8 lbs 10 oz and he came just fine, no drugs. He was big, IMO, but to me BIG is probably over 9 lbs.
