Don't they even make just plain ole blue jeans anymore????

I am an average sized woman, with an average shape. I can try on jeans all day long and they will look and fit great in the dressing room. As soon as they come out of the store and I wear them in real life, the only use I could get out of them is quilt scraps. I can not find a decent pair that is 100% cotton, not this cotton/spandex blend crap that stretches out the very 1st time you sit or bend down. They all end up falling down. I look like a 16 yo boy with his skivies hangin out. Anyone know of a decent pair of 100% cotton mom jeans?

  • Old Navy makes 100% cotton jeans. So does Target. I have a pair from both.

  • st. john's bay jeans at jcpenny. I dont know why but those jeans rock even after every wash they still fit.

  • I was going to say Old Navy, too. I have to wear a belt with any jeans, but you can get the waist tailored to fit better, just FYI.

  • I prefer Levis or Wranglers and I buy them only at western stores. That way I know I can find the none-stretchable kind.

  • I don't know what size you are, but the "seven7" brand, I bought at Lane Bryant, don't know if they're available other places or not, isn't stretchy like that, I've worn the same pair numerous times between washings and they don't get stretched out. Eddie Bauer is another really really good choicel, and about half the price of the others.

  • I totally agree with the OP re: stretch jeans - can't stand them but every brand that other posters have suggested suck too.
