How soon after Christmas do you take down your tree and decorations?

I know some who have it all packed away the day after Christmas but I leave mine up as long as possible. Sometimes almost to the end of January!

  • I usually take mine down the day after Christmas Day, but this year, i took mine down on Christmas Day & put it in the building because i wanted to get it put away before our expected snow storm hit on Christmas Day night.

  • Usually two weeks. Definitely by Valentine's Day. One year I put it up in our formal living room. At that point we were not using that room. I left the tree up all year.

  • We box it up and put it all away on the 26th. When New Year comes I want my house tip top, and everything back in place. I like starting the new year with a clean slate.
