  • To some is a form of child abuse. But I think it is necessary sometimes, I use it only for a last resort

  • Nope. And it's not abuse unless it leaves a mark (as in a bruise, not a red spot that's gone in 10 minutes).

  • Generally it is not, as long as there is no lasting physical damage(ie: Welts), but like music said it all depends on the state.

  • In Virginia it isn't as long as you don't leave marks. I was told this by a DSS worker.

  • hand to butt spanking is fine any thing else is a big no go cause it will leave a mark plus if you use something besides the hand you wont be able to tell how hard you are hitting the child.
