Go to bed as soon as the kids fall asleep or stay up later?

I'd like to stay up later but I always end up falling asleep a half hour or so after my son goes to bed

  • I stay up later... Like another said, its MY time. Getting less sleep is well worth it. Because if I dont have my several hours of downtime I'll go crazy lol. Whether its zoning out into the tv or a movie, or reading a book, or sitting on the computer, its my time to relax. My time to be me ---- not "MOMMY!!!!!" LoL

  • I stay up later because that is also my "ME" time. I look forward to the kids going to bed so I can have an hour or two to myself without the kids.

  • My kids are grown, but when they were young I'd stay up.That was my quiet time to watch a TV show in peace and quiet or read a book, or what ever. They had me all day and now I had me all night, or my S/O had his fair share of time w/me too.
