Has any other mom done this?

So my mom bought my son a potty chair, he is only one and I don't want to potty train until the minimum age of 18mos, no rush. She just buys things ahead of time.

Anyway, now that he has a potty chair in the bathroom, instead of having him run around getting into every cabinet possible in the bathroom I sit him on his potty while I use the restroom and he stays there until I get up. it's pretty cute, just wondering if other moms did this, or will. It's a great way to get him to sit still. I just say "Okay, we're going potty now" and he just sits there, lol. Then he runs out when "we're" done.

  • It's a great thing to do. My son did this too. He understood what "potty" meant. It's a great learning tool!! Good luck with the "little potty" (as my son used to call it).
