Shakes head violently - is this Normal?

My DD is 8 months old. Forthe past few months she does this headshake thing. Usually when she is falling asleep and/or fussy. Once in a while she does it out of the blue. Is this just a normal little quark she has or is it a sign of something else. TIA

  • It could be a tic.... Just ask your dr. That would be the best way to find out :)

  • i AGREE IT COULD BE A TIC BUT IF ITS VIOLENTLY THEN I WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE HER IN AND FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON BECUZ SHAKING THE HEAD HARD WITH A INFANT CAN DO DAMAGE. JUST NOT SURE HOW HARD SHE IS DOING IT BUT TAKE HER IN OK AND GOOD LUCK
