  • Why does your mother know? I really hope you are using condoms due to diseases & pregnancy. That is always a concern. The interesting thing is that you are not saying that you are dating someone, you say you are having sex with her. What does this relationship mean to you? Parents all want their children (of any age) to have healthy relationships. Being with someone who is 20 years older is strange because your mom doesn't see you as an equal to herself or to another grown woman. Have they met?

When I was 18, I had an 18 year old roommate who was dating a 36 year old & her mother was happy with it. We all thought it was weird. What does someone so much older see in a kid? She was average in maturity. Our other roommate was 21 & she was a lot more mature. She had been out in the world supporting herself etc. It would still have been odd if she were the one with a much older boyfriend, but it would have made sense.

  • You gotta be kidding. Put yourself in your mom's place. Think like an adult not a teen.
