What's the best remedy for cradle cap for my 11 week old?

  • My daughter had it too. I would rub olive oil or vegetable oil on her head and let it soak for a few minutes. Then I used one of those REALLY soft brushes or a wash cloth and just kinda gently massaged her head. It worked really well to get most of the dryness off. Then I washed her hair with shampoo to get the oil out.

  • I used baby oil and a baby comb and kept brushing and brushing. I also used a toothbrush in the shower.

  • Cradle cap is easily treated with regular liquid Dial. Wash his/her hair with dial for a few days until gone. Obviously be super careful not to get any in the baby's eyes. No scrubbing necessary.
