Which sounds better: Marleigh Lyn or Marleigh Raelyn?

I wanted to name baby girl after my grandma who just passed away last month. Her name was Marilyn so we took Lyn from Marilyn. Well now I'm worried my grandma who has been a huge part of my life and helped raise me for many years is going to be upset if I name the baby after my other grandma. Her middle name is Rae so I figured I could put the two together and make it only problem is I feel it takes away from honoring my grandmother who just died while my other grandma is still alive and gets to enjoy the baby. I just don't know what to do!!

  • Marleigh Lyn. Will you have other children in the future? Maybe you could honor your other grandmother with the next child?

  • I think you should not worry about honoring the grandmas and just name your baby the name that you want, it is a name the baby will carry the rest of her life..honor the baby! You can honor your living grandmother another way.

Marleigh Lyn is a little better
