  • Honestly money is probably best. Not to mention the cheapest thing to mail. If she is going to college and you don't want to send her just money you could get her a giftcard to the college book store (the book stores have so much more than books).

  • Is she going to college in the fall? If she is, send her a "college survival kit" with things like a roll of quarters, bottle of tylenol, sleep mask and earplugs, etc.

  • money, I know that some people don't like this idea but the kids love getting the money. They can always use it and at this point in her life she most kids are looking to save enough to either move out or go to school.

  • I would say a giftcard to someplace where she can buy school supplies. Or maybe offer to put money on her school card so she can get extra stuff at school in the fall. Of course, these only work if she is going to college. If she isn't, then good old hard cash works.

  • Ask her mom what scholl stuff she's gonna need for college, or a gas gift card. Kids love free gas.
