What foods can I feed a 8mth old?

I am very nervous about starting finger foods and I think I am a little late :( I am scared he is going to choke... Can someone please help me start!

  • I fed my kids table food at 6 mos...EVERYTHING. they can gum almost anything. Just cut it small. I started w/bananas and sweet potatoes and then from there added other soft veggies and fruits. My son loved avacadoes!!! Yogurt, cheese, bits of chicken breast, turkey, bologna, pancakes, toast....just cut it up and watch em go at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • You can feed them any soft, small foods. Cut up some veggies and steam them very well. Banana slices. Cheerios. Ground beef.

  • Dont think you're too late! My DD is 6 months and eats VERY LITTLE baby food at all. It's better to delay than to rush.
