My daughter hates the puree baby food...

I have about 20 vegetables left from all the buy 10 for $10 sales. What can I make with puree veggies?

  • Add them with fruit or protein powder in smoothies.
    Add to cream soups
    Feed them to the dogs.

  • Just drop them into stew, they'll disappear, add a little nutrition (hardly any, but whatever) and thicken it a bit. You can also add them to soup, but they're going to be more noticeable and you'll have to be more careful with the flavour combinations.

With mild-flavoured veg purees, you can use them in place of applesauce in applesauce spice cookies or coffee cakes. Seriously.

  • add it to speghetti sauce. Or make a smoothie w/the carrots.
Have you tried adding baby cereal to it? Or warming it up? My daughter loved it and then all of a sudden wanted nothing to do w/them. I added cereal to make it thicker and warmed it up for just a little bit and she seems to be eating them again.

    Good luck!
