All baby girl wants is SWEETS! How can I stop from getting huge this time?

I know it'll be easier once all the holiday sweets are out of the house and that way I can focus more on sweet things like fruit, but what else is there for variety?

How did you keep your sweet tooth at bay AND stay healthy?

  • Chew on gum.
Also, and this is going to sound crazy but it's true. If you eat an artichoke (and can wait the 45+ minutes for it to cook) it gets rid of your cravings for sweets. I ate a LOT of artichokes w/my 1st pregnancy!

  • I love artichokes so I'll have to try that for the cravings at night. Gum sounds like a good idea! Like some candy flavored kind mmm. I guess for the chocolate cravings fat free milk and Hershys will have to do! hehe

  • Treat yourself just not excessively. Eat a piece of dark chocolate a day to calm the cravings.

  • just keep it in moderation cravings happen during pregnancy because your lacking something you need typically not always though. Something sweet once a day wont hurt you.
