When did you first give your child table/finger foods?

My son is 8 months old and has two bottom teeth and two top just now coming in.. My question to you is, when did you first offer your child table/finger foods? What did you start with?

*Edit* So far he has only had, cheerios and Gerber Puffs..

  • My kids all had finger foods at 7 months and went completely to table foods by 8 month. Some of their firsts were bananas, green beans and blueberries (halved)

  • I started around 10-months with Gerber Puffs and now he is on to Cheerios. I am having a hard time with other finger foods (cheese, cooked veggies) but my plan is to keep offering and I am sure he'll eventually take it.
