How healthy is this for a dog?

I ran out of dog snacks so I discovered they like wheat thins. Right now I fed them a couple of wheat thins as a reward for not barking. And it works. Wheat thins are also less expensive.

  • Our dog likes them and she's healthy. I do know that we shouldn't feed them to the dog very often. Keep in mind that they are FIBER and it has the same affect on animals as it does on humans.

  • I think they are probably better than the animal odds & ends most dog treats are made from.

  • I actually wouldn't feed them as they are made of wheat and wheat is one of the most common allergens in dogs. I would prefer to use plain cooked chicken or beef as treats/rewards. Carrots & apples are great, too.
