Cheesecake. A cake or a pie?

Which one do YOU consider it is?
Sure it has cake in the name but I've heard so many people say it's a pie.

I call it a cake.

  • It's a pie. Just like Boston Cream Pie is actually a cake.

  • Well, I'd say it depends on how you make it. The no-bake kind I would consider a pie. I bake them from scratch, personally, and I'd consider that a cake.

Now I've got cheesecake on the brain... Mmmm LOL
