Aphids are invading my flowers. I tried spraying soapy water, which is what the nursery recommended, but that doesn't work. Any ideas?

  • I had an aphid problem on a flowering shrub. At first I was afraid I would loose the plant...there were so many. Per the Gardener Guy (from HGTV before it became all about real-estate), I blasted them all away with the spray of my garden hose. It cleared them quickly, and they didn't come back. Well, there were a few from time to time, but I just blasted them with the hose. No poison required. :-)

  • I think you can buy lady bugs which eat the aphids at home depot. It is what I heard.
