Has anyone ever had a fetal MRI?

just curious, cause its just another test/study they can do to get a better understanding of what will be wrong with our baby girl, and if you have, is it safe? im lookin up info now, but want to see if anyone has had one.

  • MRI/MRA is safe in pregnancy and used a lot in pregnancy with known fetal issues esp spina biffida and other neural tube defects... there is no radiation in an MRI --MRI works by having your DNA stand-- its too hard to explain but that is the level at which is works-- go to my cm page and you'll see a link there to the image gently people they are the professionals at children and exposure to radiation and how to avoid it one of their biggest recommendations is to use MRI in diagnosing children instead of CAT scans which are routinely used now in spite of the known risks
