  • Most guidelines say no solids before 6 months. There are risks to starting too early, only benefits to waiting, so why not just wait?

  • I would wait until at least 6 mos to introduce anything other then breast, breast milk, or formula. And, just FYI, you don't HAVE to use the infant cereals. I think they're gross. You can start with a fruit or veggie if you'd like instead.

  • The pediatrician advised me to put my son on it around 3 months. He loved it. I fed it to him in a bowl, not in his bottle.

  • I waited til dd was six mths or was it 5 either way i gace it to her and she didnt really like it i then moved to oatmeal!
    you dont HAVE to give them cereal EVER if you dont want to :)
    with my son i gave it to him at 3 mths but i did a lot more research with it the ssecond time around with dd.
