Criminal Justice degree anyone?

So ive been struggling for a while on what degree to go with..I feel for me criminal justice would be something I could handle and I LOVE law and im obsessed with any crime/law shows so I know it would interest me..but my concern is that the only thing I could do is be a cop. Nothing against that but I would rather try to get into an academy if I were to do that rather then shell out $40-$60k for a bachelors ..it just doesnt seem worth it to me. So im wondering if anyone on here has a degree in that area and are there other things I can do with it? Also my DH is in the military and we are stationed in the absolute no where and theres no where to work here and we will probably be stuck here for the rest of his career..so thats also a big factor

  • no, I dont want to be a Police officer or corrections but im assuming those are the only two things I can do. Im just not smart enough to do any other degrees that require higher types of math and science
