I went through 3 toasters last year all different prices, they all ....

Sucked! What kind is the best? I hate having to push my toast down twice! I want one that will last and work!

  • We don't use it that often so we buy the Procter and Gamble that runs about $18. Like everything else, nothing is built to last anymore.

  • I have had mine for about 5 years and it was my Grandmother's before that. Nothing special. I don't see a big deal about having to push it down more than once, just doesn't seem like a big deal.

  • I no longer use a toaster. I decided I really didn't need one. My bread toasts just perfect in the oven.

  • Mine is some no-name that cost about $10 or less, and has been going strong for at least 5 years. I think the adjustable setting is the most important feature, well, and maybe the auto shutoff in case the toast gets stuck!
