2 Bumps

My almost 3 week old....

My baby Paige will be 3 weeks old on thursday. Anyhow, My son Jacob, myself, And my Finace Rob have this bad congestion, running nose. Anyhow we all been fighting it for over a week now. My 3 week old is now coughing, and sounds very congested, and is sneezing. My 3 year old has not caught it. What should I do for my 3 week old?

  • Keep an eye on her temperature, make sure she is warm enough & getting enough to eat. Do you BF or FF? Also it's a good idea to run the humidifier so that she doesn't get dried out. If she gets bad, take her to the ped.

  • If she's only 3 weeks old, you should maybe contact her pediatrician if she's badly congested.

  • Keep her in her carseat during the night. keeping her elevated should help with the nasal congestion. other than that nasal saline and the bulb can help get rid of any snot buildup. if you don't have a humidifier, take her into the bathroom with you (carseat, bouncer, swing) while you take a shower.. the steam is great for helping with congestion.
