Do you let your child drink Coffee, Pop, or Tea?

I have heard about a couple moms that give their kids some coffee in their cups and stuff.

Just curious if anyone else does that and how old are the kids your giving this too?

**I have a four year old daughter, She does NOT get coffee or tea. She gets sprite for pop. Mostly drinks water, juice, and soy milk.

  • I give my son non-caffeinated Tea, No sugar, and not that mix in stuff, I mean tea from a tea bag.

We do give him juice but it can't be from concentrate, must be organic, have no added sugar. The one we have now is Carrot/Apple
He doesn't like sweetened foods, I tried to give him tea with raw sugar, I tried his b-day cake, he acts like it's the worse thing in the world.

    he's going on 14mos

  • Mine only get milk, water, and occasionally juice. (They eat a lot of fresh fruit.)
Every great once in a while, they may get treated with a non-caffeinated pop, such as Sprite or 7up.

  • No. Never to coffee. I will give him a sip or two of decafe tea. I try not to give him soda. And I would never give him a whole one. Only time he got a whole soada was when I gave him ginger ale when he had a tummy ache.I really try to encourage healthy habits in my son and family.
