  • About an hour after he got off. He worked about 20 minutes away at the time and it was REALLY icy and snowy. He was in our explorer that fish tails like nobodies business so I told him to drive VERY slow...thankfully he got home safe and sound.

  • about 2 hours after he got off work, the drive usually takes about 40 mins but the roads get really bad and it is right in the middle of elk country so sometimes he has to drive really slow!

  • He has never had an issue getting home. It is usually a 20 min drive and he has never taken more than 30 min. We are used to Maine winters and now we live in Virginia. We haven't had any issues in the four years we have been here.

  • He works a 10 minute walk from our home, a 5 minute drive, so even doubling that weather really doesn't affect his 'commute'. There've been lots of times he's gotten caught up in what he's doing, wanting to finish it, so he'll stay an extra half hour to an hour, but he usually calls. And even then his hours are 8 am - 4 pm, so an hour late still gets him home by 5ish.
