19 yr old aughter moved out and in with her ex boyfriend and one of his oher ex girlfriends.

everyone has their own rooms . she does not have a job and is signing up for college.The place looks like a crack den, she has a beautiful room and home but says it is boring cause all her friends at school.She was not well her last semester in school and is using it as a crutch not to move forward
i think she needs a shove in the right direction. Anyone else have a similar problem.
exboyfriend has given her money to clean and people give her gas money but
i don't want her to coast along.
i need ideas please

  • She's 19 so you just need to let her find herself and make her own path in life. At this point you can just be there for her when she needs you again.

  • All you can do is support her. Our children have to learn from their own mistakes, we can't protect them forever. Advice is not welcomed or received well. I know, trust me.

  • You have to just sit back and wait for her to hit bottom and then help pick her up. But don't push. Sometimes they have to fail before they realize then need help.
