  • Look up "capoeira". It's a Brazilian form of martial arts/dance that really does work the abs and core without being on the ground.

  • you can sit on the edge of a chair, leaning back slightly and do a bicycle with your legs, you can stand with your feet spread a little more than shoulder width, turn your bodyto one side and put your arms up, hands together in front of you, then bring your knee up and over and your arms down, teisting your body so your elbow and knee cross paths...does that make any sense?
