  • I have taken al the Santa stuff down but the tree stays up until sometime after New Years. I have 2 jobs this year so I am not sure when the tree will come down . I also love the lights but then I leave up all my snowmen stuff until just before Easter and I leave up my Precious Moments Village all the whole time also.

  • I took mine down the day after Christmas. My DS's birthday is 12/27, I don't like the tree up when we celebrate his birthday.

  • Always take down your decorations and tree prior to the New Year. If not, it will be there all year or the for the most part.

  • Our's were taken down as soon as everyone left Christmas afternoon. By then, I'm sick of looking at them, and want my house back to normal. Plus, once everyone's opened everything, we've ate, and they've seen the decorations, there's no reason to leave them up.

  • I leave everything up as long as possible. Sometimes it's even the end of January before I get it all put away. I love the holidays!

  • I used to leave everything up until just about the end of January but dh #1 was killed in an auto accident 6 years ago on Dec. 10 and I can't stand to have everything up after the fact. If I'm home the day after Christmas it all comes down. I do put up snowmen until I decorate for Valentine's day.
