Don't laugh at me! :) Does anyone get embarrassed... adult content

When talking about sex?
I spent the holidays with some friends, my hubby is deployed so I was the only one there without a spouse/SO and they had this LONG convo about sex and I just got SUPER red! Even skyping, my hubby will ask me to do stuff and then he's like, why are you so red?! Even though I'm totally comfortable with him.
I think its hilarious though, and I don't know why I get so embarrassed, I have two kids so obviously it happens!

  • I used to, my parents NEVER spoke about it, didn't even tell us, we all learned from school, so for a very long time I couldn't do it.... Now I can, its a fact of life, a part of life and natural.

  • It's okay, you're just more modest than some other people. I quite frankly wouldn't feel comfortable sitting around with a group of other people and talking about our sex lives either. A one-on-one conversation with a close friend is okay with me, but other than that, I generally prefer not to get too much into with people. It's just personal, that's all.

  • I don't get red but it can be hard to talk about with my husband even after having two kids. But I could talk about it with my friends at work back when I had a job. Go figure.

  • I can talk about sex with certain people-mt best friends and I have to be really comfortable with them. I didn't for a long time, but in the last year or so I'm more comfortable with it. I feel like I have a more mature sexual relationship with my husband now and for some reason that makes it easier to talk about. It's okay if your not comfortable right now, maybe you will be later.
