Is it normal for my 2yr old to drink all the time?

  • Yes, healthy even. Just make sure you are limiting the Milk two 2 cups a day and the juice to 4 oz, and the rest water.

    my mom says my 5 year old drinks too much lol but i dont see a problem

  • It's ok as long as you're not letting him/her drink to the point they don't want food. IE..... limit milk as a previous posted said to 2 cups a day. Also, be careful with juice because it's loaded with sugar. I try to give mine as much water as possible. That doesn't always fly, so we do 50% juice/50% water some, too :)

  • She refuses to drink water so I give her juice w/ 1/2 or 3/4 water. She only drinks milk before bed or w/oatmeal or cereal. That's it :(

  • Yes it is normal. You need to make sure your child eats also. Water, Milk, Juice are healthy.

  • I have known a lot of children who always have a sippy cup of liquid in hand. However, I personally think that constantly drinking can overhydrate them.
