Do you have sagging skin after weight loss?

Hello!! I'm working on losing 100 pounds. I've lost about 10 so far. and I know I still have a ways to go but I was wondering if there is anyone here that has lost that much weight, and if they had a problem with loose skin after?

  • I have and yes/no.

It's a two sided question because it really depends on your age and your skin's elasticity. I lost close to 90 pounds at about 20 and my skin, slowly but surely, went back to its proper shape. However, in my 30's after losing just 30 lbs, I noticed my skin was still saggy in my upper arms.

As you age, the elastin in your skin wears out and down, making it much more difficult after a large weight loss.

    Good luck!
