Recipes which a 4 year can help with?

I am trying to find recipes that preschoolers want to eat and help make. Even if it's just 'mixing', or adding dry ingredients.

  • My go-to kid-friendly recipe is banana nut bread. Kids love to mash the bananas and the rest of the ingredients are simple enough. And of course kids tend to like to eat it.

  • This winter I have been making cookie dough and my 4 year old uses cookie cutters to make the cookies. He also loves mixing things, so I will take what I'm cooking away from the stove and let him mixed the mashed potatoes, or stir the pasta, etc.
