Has anyone had a problem with their television set?

As far as white dots on the inside of the screen and it interferes alittle watching a movie I feel like we are looking outside at the stars at night. It is weird.
We purchased a Mitsubishi 73in. telelvision we have had it for 3yrs. and just the other day 12/27/10 started to get one white dot then the next day 2 more as the week went by we are down to 20 dots it is very annoying. Ladies if you have a man in your life who repairs televisions can you please ask him what could this be, all I am getting is the run around with people on the phone. Last I heard it just might cost us 1,000 to repair it and that is not including the labor...ugh!!!
Thanks you so much ladies for listening :/

  • Could be one of the circuit boards going bad. Or a receptor, or ....... any number of things. The price of the repair should be less than the price of a new TV. That's what determines if you repair or replace.

Buy yourself an LCD,those DLP's are POS!
it'll cost ALOT to fix it. We were quoted a price of $600 to fix ours. We just threw it out!

  • Ugh...it could be a bunch of things. You might want to call a repair man. Sorry that's happening to you though.
