So I have a package of store-bought tortillas...

We used a few, and whoever put them away didn't seal the package so they're a little dried out. Is there anything I can do to bring them back to life?

I had planned to make homemade tortilla chips to go with soup with the rest of the package anyway. Can I fry them up dried out like that, will that be okay?

  • I put them in the oven to crisp them up and use them in soup or make nachos out of them.

  • Brush them with oil, slice them into strips or triangles and bake them at 350 until they're golden. Mmm... homemade non-fried tortilla chips...

  • Fry them in oil and dust with cinimon sugar for a little sweet treat!

  • I would wet them with a little water with your hand and put them in the microwave to soften them

  • Take a pizza cutter and cut the tortillas like you would a pizza. Preheat the oven to 375* and bake them for 7-10 minutes.

  • Can I make them into chips already dried out or do I have to soften them first!

  • just make them into chips, no need to add moisture back to them.
