Do you turn your garden area into a compost in the winter?

In the winter I have been putting wilted fruits and veggies and egg shells in the garden. i fiigure its gotta help somehow with the soil! We saw a difference in the soil last year

  • We have a compost pile in the backyard. We add some of that debris to the garden before we turn it over in the spring.

  • We have a desert land scape. So we just have to cover our cactus.

  • We have a compost bin that we use all year and what has composted through the winter is added to the garden in the early Spring & worked into the soil about a week before planting time.
