Do you have a plan if you have fire in your house?

Do you have a plan where to go, what to do, which door to leave through, where the family meet, who to call? Do you talk to the kids about this plan? Do you practice just in case?

  • My daughter is 4 and I think it about time for a plan now. We live in apartment on the bottom floor, but still very important.
    Thanks for the reminder.

  • Of coarse if there is a fire we get the F out of there!
We only have one door and if that way is blocked I'm going to have to seriously toss my kids out our second story window. We have rocks below so I would probably hold them and jump with my as going down to try and avoid them getting hurt

  • We have a plan and have always. They teach this in school and we enforce it as well

  • My kids are a little young but my plan is to grab the kids, the diaper bag and the car seat and get the hell out of the house. If needed I leave the car seat. I live up on the 3rd floor, so it's a little tough, but we've already had a fire scare.
