  • Pregnancy tests are most accurate after you have missed your period. So if the dates coincide then I guess it's possible.

Answering the burning question of how soon you can tell if you are pregnant can be easy or difficult depending on how pregnant you are (how far long you are) and also how well you know your own body. If you want to know how soon you can tell if you are pregnant the answer is often within 2 or 3 weeks of conceiving, but some women know within a few days. It really depends on your ability to pick up on the changes occuring within your body.

  • with a blood test I have heard that before 3 weeks after sex there is not enough HGC in the blood and is likely to give you a false negative if you are pregnant.

  • No, the egg may not have even implanted by then, let alone let the hCG levels get to measurable levels. The very soonest any test can detect is 5 days before your missed period, but even then, a negative can't be counted on. I wouldn't test until you miss your period if you want an accurate result.

  • Nope. the egg would just be reaching the uterus for implanting.
