what can i do for my little guys hiccups?

my 7 day old little boy gets the hiccups all the time. any ideas about ways i can help him get rid of them?

  • when my son had them at that age the doctor would just tell me it would pass cause there isn't much you can do for a baby that young... you could try to give him water and see if that helps.

  • Gripe Water is natural and safe. It's great for several things... colic, stomach cramps, hiccups, nausea, gas and teething. Relief usually occurs within 5-20 minutes.

    You can get gripe water with the baby items in the pharmacy :)

    I wish I'd known about it long before I did!!

  • I LOVED gripe water for my little one. Very common for colic in the UK but when I moved to the USA I had to get it from a health food store cos no one knew what it was. But yes it works great for hiccups.

  • Letting them pass on their own (IMO) is the best way. They don't hurt for babies. My son is two and still has them...had him since I was pregos with him

  • I had the hiccups one day and they said i was growing still lol i was 20 SO i would say he just growing lol
