Where can I find a cheap jogging stroller?

Why are these things always over $300...seriously...everyone knows that we are going to run three times and then decide that it sounded better than it actually was....

  • Just two tips in buying a jogging stroller - buy the one with rubber wheels - like on a bicycle - some of the less expensive models have plastic wheels not good. Also make sure your vehicle has can actually fit the stroller the joggers need a different space configuration then a regular stroller - unless you are only using it in your neighborhood. I loved the jogger because it seemed stronger and more supportive then the smaller strollers. Once I got the jogger I used that also exclusively.

  • Try Craigslist.com, I have seen some on there before in good condition for like 75-150

  • Craigslist, yard sales, or freecycle. If there are any classifieds for your area, that can be good, too.
Do you have a friend you can borrow one from? Then you can at least try it out and see if it's worth it or not, ya know?

  • Childrens consignment stores or those huge consignment sales they have at churches every spring are a great place for all kinds of baby gear, including strollers.
Also, as others have suggested, craigslist usually has inexpensive baby stuff as well. Good luck.
