Does money bring happiness?

maybe not, but it sure adds a large measure of it. An improvement to quality of life makes most people quite happy and content.

I know I'd be a lot happier not having to worry about keeping a budget and living paycheck to paycheck. Or giving a second thought about splurging on something and wondering if we can afford to do that right now.

We once won a cash prize and for about 3 months, while it lasted, it was really nice to sit back and not worry about things. After we paid off our bills and replaced our 2 aging cars, then we were kinda back to normal again.

  • No, not the money it self, but the things it buys can make you happy. Bills paid, you and your kids dressed, food in your stomach (or better food), a new good car, security for the bad days, health insurance. After all that theres not that much to worry about, just making sure your kids are raised right and you and Dh are good and happy

  • It doesn't bring happiness just in and of itself. But, it can sure make life easier, if used wisely, and when life is easier, then most people are happier.
