I dont get this BUMPING questions or whatever....someonne please explain please

  • Bumping a question means that making it more popular. It will appear on the top of the question page. More bump, upper question. It is something like google ranking if you've ever heard about it. And if you check out the newest questions option there are some special options under it like unanswered questioned or more bumped questioned. It means your question won't disappear amongst the other questions. Someone can search for the most popular question or most bumped questions. So you don't really have to check out all the rubbish or unimportant questions. You can just check out those who actually someone is interested in. I would highly recommend to read through the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) here.

  • Bumping questions also displays them in the recently bumped list, at the bottom of answers pages, and in other sections. The idea being that a question needs more answers so we can bump it to make it more visible.
