Express or repress?

My mom seems to think I will "give myself a heart attack" whenever I express my displeasure about something. I say it's better to get it off your chest & not bury your feelings. I'm not talking about screaming at people, but letting your opinion be known. What do you think? Do you express or do your repress?

  • It IS better to get it off your chest than to let it fester.

  • Both. It takes a lot for me to actually express my anger and frustration but when I get to that point, watch out!

  • A little bit of both, but if you hold them in for too long then your more than likely to explode!!

  • To Anon: As I told you in a differnt post, you need to lighten up. I made a joke, hence the "LOL" I get sarcastic that way sometimes. That's just my sense of humor - I was not looking to open up a debate about women's lib.

  • Anon: You dont know me- but yet you took a direct quote of mine, out of context. Interesting. I do not care what type of mentality you may THINK (& I use that term lightly)- I have, just from an off the wall joke I made in a previous post.
