Did you and the kids stay up to see the ball drop?

We all conked out about 11.

  • Yes, I made it! My son, who is 5 years old made it until about 11:35. Daddy was asleep about 11:00. However, I made sure they knew when it was midnight. My son woke up because he wanted to see the ball drop and got to see the last Then we went outside and saw some fireworks. We had such a good time bringing in the New Year!

  • We live in central time and last year we let the kids stay up to watch it drop, thinking we would see it at midnight. Nope, our stations showed it at 11 our time and did not rerun it at midnight or 1 am (which is how late we stayed up trying to see it). )c: This year, we remembered at 11:05, but the kids were like "eh, who cares". They have my mentality of NYE, it's no big deal.
