  • Draegon is very different. It's not horrible and I think I like it, but I'm not really sure...

I think Phillip Draegon sounds/flows better than Draegon Phillip.

  • I agree with your DH. Love the name but think it sounds better reversed.

And no, you aren't cursing him to a life of being called Dragon. If it's too bad, and he can't deal, he can always go by Phillip. My daughter has been called by her middle name since she was born, and so have I. No biggie.

  • Sorry, not sold on Draegon at either point. Unique is fine, but not big on made up names.
Drea doesn't sound too bad but reminds me of Dr. Dre the rapper guy...

  • you asked for opinions, I gave it, I think the kid is going to have to pronounce his name to everyone his entire life

and have you met many CEO's named Dragon?

  • What wrong with that? It's a good tough name. Think about if he is in sports! Even if isn't he may be into fantasy and bam perfect name! Or What if he likes skate boarding!? Or maybe the connection will never come up at all. That crossed our mind but we just aren't worried to much about that nick name. There are MUCH worse ones out there!

  • The District Manager at my Dad's company is Leathar. So I have a heard time seeing how a name will effect anything beside if he wants to go by Phillip he can. The name is not Dragon it is Draegon. We plan on calling him Draegon whether we use it as his first or middle name so that's why I said we should leave it as is.
