Democrats ONLY!: You say the Republicans are to blame for financial mismanagement..

during Obama's presidential watch, the....

...national debt has increased by $3,039,000,000,000, as in, that much more than it was when he took the oath on Jan. 20, 2009, national debt has increased by $3,039,000,000,000, as in, that much more than it was when he took the oath on Jan. 20, 2009, in front of millions of excited witnesses and Aretha Franklin's huge hat. (These figures do not include the debt from the new HEALTH CARE BUDGET.... As that has not begun to take effect!)
Obama prefers to lay the blame or credit for this gargantuan spending increase at the cowboy-booted feet of his Lone Star Republican predecessor. During George W. Bush's Oval Office tenure, the national debt increased more -- by $4.9 trillion, in fact.

However, Bush took 96 months to do that. And while Bush was in office he had to pass measures by a DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES... Obama did all his spending with a free pass from his fellow DEMOCRATS as Republicans tried every tactic they could to stall or halt the spending!

Obama has accomplished his spending feat in less than 21 months. Under his spendership the national debt has grown about $4.8 billion every day since he took the oath of office twice, just to be safe.

Usually when there there is a financial mess... PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE... START TO SAVE AND NOT SPEND.. WHY IS IT THAT DEMOCRATS DON'T USE "TIME PROVEN FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE ACTIONS?"

  • I'm a Democrat and I think Obama has been the worse mistake our country has made in decades. We are not all blaming others for his horrible mistakes.

  • Michael Moore, Barbara Streisand and Rosie O, hardly count as reliable credible quotes. They are all among the fringe of the far, far, far left wing. It should be obvious to ANYONE with a brain, that Obama's "fixes" have been a massive FAIL. He has accomplished nothing more than expanding debt to unsustainable levels and expanding gov dependency. But that is his goal.

  • The only reason banks "got away" with the so called predatory lending was because Democrats allowed and even encouraged them to.

  • No, I say that both parties suck and spend our money like drunken teens with daddys credit card. Both parties and Wall Street are responsible for the current economic mess.

  • I think it's both Republican and Democrat faults. Obama is the worse mistake for this country but Bush didnt do any better and both were different parties

  • ambr2006,
???? NO ONE COMPLAINED ABOUT BUSH?????

    ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME?

Yes, Liberals complained but I saw very few on the Right complain about his spending or abuse of the Constitution. Then a Dem makes it into the WH,the Tea Party appears and Republicans suddenly care about debt and spending. Many people don't care or ignore actions by their own party that they would scream bloody murder about if the other side did it.

  • Stop the divide. There are Dems and Repubs involved in all levels of the federal government. THEY ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE. In addition, most Americans are not very fiscally responsible, Dems and Repubs included. How many families claim that mom can not work because the family wouldn't net enough after paying daycare costs? Sorry, daycare is nothing compared to the costs related to raising and educating children. YOU HAVE TOO MANY KIDS for your income level-a hugely fiscally irresponsible move, JMHO- Unless you're without guilt, stop trying to highlight everyone else's faults!!!!

WRONG! The bulk on the right do not care about debt (they support tax relief for mega millionaires).....they only see part of the solution. In order to pay down debt, spending needs to be curbed AND revenue needs to be raised!
