Linea Nigra predicting gender?

With my first child, a girl, my linea nigra (the dark line that appears vertically in the middle of your belly while pregnant) went all the way to my sternum. With my boys, it only went to my belly button. Have you noticed the linea nigra "predicting" the gender of your baby? (Just curious, because I'd like to guess right for once!)

  • I never got it, but I don't think there's any correlation between the linea nigra and gender. I've never noticed in with the pregnant women I've worked with.
