  • In February we had a three day blizzard that dumped over 4 and half feet of snow and ice then more snow then more ice. There was NO power or heat unless you lived in a house with a fireplace or wood stove. I'm from the Helderberg Mountains so weather is intense

  • We had a realllllly bad cold snap where it was around 10 degrees, and lower if you took into account the wind. That was worse to me then snow, ice or any heatwave.

  • We had a lot of snow early in the year when we lived in Ohio and I would say that was the worst but the blizzard that we had in december in Virginia beat it not because of the amount but because the people down here are totally unprepared for this type of weather and it took them 4 days to clean our road off.

  • Less than two weeks ago when we had all the rain. Our tortoise burrow flooded while he was hibernating, so we had to rip the whole thing up and dig him our to rescue him. He's lucky he's alive, but now he's homeless.
