  • Is it like esoteric Christianity or Gnosticism?

If so, there are many parallels between Buddhism and Gnosticism, and from what I know little I know about it, I would like the emphasis on tolerance, being 'awake', equality of women, the emphasis on wisdom, awareness, consciousness, use of meditation and mantras, etc.

Experiential Christianity lives by experience alone and pays no attention to the teaching of Scripture. If THAT fundamentally Christian?

  • I have heard of esoteric Christianity, from the source I read about it, it seemed like a form of Cristo-Paganism. The beliefs weren't for me, so I moved on to something else - but it was pretty interesting.
