  • I asked my hubby and he said that you usually say the "sinners prayer", ask Jesus into your heart and have been baptized!!

  • You fool yourself into believing that the bible is true and jesus really exists. Once you're deluded enough to believe that, a wonderful, calming sensation flows through your body and you can officially tell everyone else how wrong they are.

  • Well have you ever had your nose broken by having it slammed into a bible so hard?
Have you been locked in a closet for hours with a bitch that is outside the closet reading pieces of the bible to you??

I was saved twice. And this is how it was done. I think you would remember.

  • That is not the attributes of God. If you read your bible you would know that is off. Jesus is a God of love and gentleness.. He does not force you to do love him. You have the choice. But the better choice is to love him because he wants to love you back.

  • Wow anon, you're a sad pathetic person. At least post with your name. Are you afraid of your opinion?

  • You wont know until you are dead and are either in heaven or hell.

Answer by Anonymous at 11:46 PM on Nov. 10, 2008

  • When you asked Jesus to be your savior, and that you truely believe in your heart that he died for your sins and that he came back to life, and that you want him in your life now and till the need to verbalize it in your prayer as you speak to him. He is always waiting and will not force himself, he wants you to come willingly on your own.

  • girlneffy,
I am sorry to hear some one was so harsh with you. That person has some issues to deal with. Christians are not perfect, I will be the first to admit I am not! We all sin, and even when you are a christian you do some wrong and need to keep going back and ask forgiveness and try again! I know that no one is perfect, and some times some "christians" may not really be. that term gets thrown around, and many people claim to be. That person may have been a litte too much, that is not how you try to help. Jesus never ran people down to win them over.

  • Admit and confess your sins to God.
"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds
    mercy" (Proverbs 28:13).
    Repentance means:
    • To acknowledge your sins.
    • To be sorry for your sins.
    • To confess your sins.
    • To be willing to forsake your sins.
    • To have your life changed by Christ.
    Forgiveness is promised.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
    unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

  • You must first know that you are lost. Lost in your trespasses and sins. Sin that was brought into the world by Adam and Eve in the garden. Everyone is born a sinner. (Romans 3:23) And what mankind deserves in death and separation from God (Romans 6:23). But, God loved us so much He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins (John 3:16). Knowing your a sinner lost and going to Hell and in need of a Savior. You then must believe in what Jesus did on the cross. (Acts 16:31) Paul told the jailer to BELIEVE. Only Trust Him!! In His death, burial and resurrection. You need to read John 10-27-30 and I John 5:13. You can KNOW you are saved.. If you have believed and truly TRUSTED in Jesus. For He is the only way, the Truth and the Life.
