  • Panda, or Microsoft security essentials. My husband works in I.T. and these are the ones he has on the PC's in our house and on his work computer. Panda is also good for that pesky spyware/adware crap.

  • I use Trend Micro and it's been pretty reliable. My husband uses Kapersky because that's what came with his laptop.

  • Norton. If you watch for sales, a lot of times OfficeMax or similar stores will run it for like X dollars, and then give you a rebate for X dollars - so essentially it's free, if you take the time to send in the rebate.
